Shield’s vault.
The protocol’s own pot. It pays for every rescue and earns from them. The protocol filled it at launch.
Live from Monad
- In the vault
- Rescues paid for
- Earned so far
Where its money comes from
Most of every fuel payment, plus the 1% slice from every rescue.
The two risks
- After a rescue the vault holds ETH until it swaps it back to USDC, so for a while it rides ETH’s price, down as well as up.
- The contracts are not audited yet. A bug could lose what’s in the vault.
Deposits are closed
Only Shield’s treasury can add money for now. That way the protocol, not the public, carries the risk while Shield is new.
Outside deposits are planned for later. Already hold vault shares? Connect that wallet to take them out.
Rescues the vault paid for
This build has no history service, so the list of rescues can't load.
